FOX 'Edges' Rig clinic

Coming to Cullompton Carp and Coarse on Saturday 22nd June 12:00 - 3:00 Devon specimen angler, Drennan cup winner and Fox consultant Julian Chidgey will be holding a rig clinic in store. It doesnt matter if you are a seasoned angler or a total beginner I am sure we can all learn something from Julian who is a very successful angler who has 2 Devon day ticket 40lb carp to his credit!

Its been a while since I updated the blog I have just been so busy sorting stuff out in the new shop. It is starting to settle down a bit now so I am getting a little more time (which I am spending redoing the web site!) I will try and keep the blog more up to date but I make no promises. We have lots of new stock in the new shop including a whole new game section but also a lot more of every sort of tackle. We are slowly increasing the range of sea-tackle bit by bit and we have added a lot more carp tackle.

Shiney New Shop!

Hopefully by the time you read this the builders will be putting the finishing touches to our shiney new shop. We are moving to unit 11 on the Alexandria Industrial estate in Cullompton, 2 minutes drive and 5 minutes walk from the old shop. The new shop is much bigger and lighter but rest assured we intend to cram it full of all the latest tackle, clothing and accessories from all the top names in the tackle industry. But of course with it being bigger we will have room for loads more goodies.

Well the days are starting to get longer and the first snowdrops and daffs are starting to appear, spring is on its way at last!
We have lots of things in the pipeline for the new season including exciting new tackle ranges from the likes of Nash and Fox, some cracking new match tackle from Drennan and the Matrix people and some new developments from the people at Gardner tackle. Those who know us and the shop are probably thinking "where are they going to put all that then?" and "surely they cant fit any MORE tackle in that shop?"
Well as the title of this post says "watch this space" we hope to have news of some very exciting developments in the next week or so.
Until then make the most of the last few weeks of the river season and get on them whenever you can I know I am going to be, so tight lines and keep checking here and our facebook page for more news.

As we usually do we are only open 3 days a week during January and February, These days and opening hours are

• Friday 08:00 - 16:30
• Saturday 08:00 -16:00

Those of you that know me will know that I am an avid Pike Fisherman and these reduced hours give me a chance to get some hours in on the bank in search of old esox.

On a slightly different note we have been developing a bait for use at the highly successful Diggerlakes complex at Willand in Devon Fishing at Diggerlakes. Now we are all happy with the composition and ingredients of the bait we will be going into production over the next week or so. The bait will be available exclusively from the shop and will be priced at £7.50 a kilo with our usual discounts for bulk orders.
